Imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Right? It is in our daily pursuit of the right hairdo, the perfect outfit, just the right shade of red lipstick, etc. that we imitate. But I remember a time in high school that if a girl showed up with the same hair style as another or wearing the same jacket that another girl was wearing that she would be labeled a copy cat. Think of Jennifer Aniston's famous hairstyle on Friends, "The Rachel". Dubbed the most famous hairstyle since the 1970's "The Farrah" (Farrah Fawcett), it was copied by millions of women all over the world. Copy cats?
I for one like being a copy cat so without further ado I introduce my Copy Cat Files. You've seen them before as Get the Look for Less, Dress for Less, Impress for Less, and many others. My goal here is to copy someone's look, actress, singer, etc. I will try to emulate the style of this person not for more and not for less. Just for fun. Because it makes me happy.
Unless you've been hiding under a rock for the last five years you have heard of the Kardashians. While there are many opinions out there regarding the famous family I admire them for just that: being a family that sticks together! I admire all the girls for their style and knowing how to dress for their curvy figures. The best at this is Kim Kardashian. When I saw this picture of her in this gorgeous Christopher Kane jacket I had just returned from a shopping trip and had in my bag my own gorgeous orange jacket. So it was really easy to decide to copy this look. The waxed jeans I had purchased some time ago from Zara and I truly have no words as to how much I love these jeans. I am actually wearing the shirt backwards to emulate the front of Ms. Kim's shirt. So here is my copy cat version, minus the black hair dye.

Thanks for the comment. Kim's jacket is more neon orange while mine is a burnt orange color although it comes off more reddish...
