Silver Lover


For as long as I remember I have preferred silver toned accessories and jewelry over gold.  While I do wear gold whenever I wear my silver there is something comforting in its cool tones.  For a long time I actually refused to wear gold and concentrated all my attention towards silver.  Part of this I think it's because it started to be so tiresome to match everything in the same tone and I hated to mix the two.  If I'm wearing all silver and the purse happens to have gold hardware it makes me painfully aware of it and even uncomfortable.  I'm really trying to get over this but in the meantime I still enjoy wearing my all silver accessories like in this outfit.

    I LOVE your statement necklace and how your flats and handbag match! I'm a more of a silver person too but certain outfits I think look better with gold jewelery, so I have both in my collection :)

    Dana you look fabulous! That is one of my all time favorite fendi bags ever available in the market. It's hard to come by now!

    Sometimes I wonder if I should have been a middle school history teacher! I really do wish that the curriculum covered post world war II. I am not as well versed about the korean, vietnam, and cold war.

    p.s. i used to be that way about mixing metals but life became far less complex when i didn't care ;) well that's an exaggeration (life is still complex) but i love mixing metals. one way to ease into it is by buying some pieces that are gold and silver...

    Those pants are a must have! And I really love the pink and silver together. I used to be the same way about black and brown together, as you are about silver and gold. But I'm pretty much almost over that now and will wear a black dress with brown belt and black shoes or something. :) Funny the things that bother and irk us. :)
